I want to tell you about a couple of helpful web addresses that I've come across recently:
-recalls.gov.- You can sign up for email alerts that notifies you about recent recalls of consumer products- including cereal, grocery foods and more.
-fruitandveggiesmatter.gov- To help you find out the nutritional value of some of your families favorite foods. Click on "interactive tools" The ANalyze MyPlate feature lets you fill a virtual plate with illustrations of common foods, then it calculates portion size calories and more.
-regionalbest.com-The site sells food from family-owned bakeries, farms and ranches.
If you find any great addresses, email me here and we will post them for everyone.
